Today, IGB was formally approved as a member of the International Trade Council (ITC). The ITC is a professional international organisation that serves the business communities worldwide, by providing leadership on key issues that impact economic growth. The Council facilitates networking, arranges business introductions, and provides training opportunities aimed at driving sustainable business growth and prosperity.

There is strength in numbers and as one of the world’s largest international trade bodies, the International Trade Council has a strong voice to make issues heard at the highest levels. The Council seeks to monitor trade barriers and trade related issues and provides timely and relevant advice to industry. The Council uses the information they have gathered to build bridges with policymakers to develop best practices and skills development across a broad range of industry. The Council looks after the interests of their members and seeks to promote good business practices and skills development across a variety of industries.
